What Happens After You Cancel Adobe Stock?
Licensed assets remain yours
Any images, videos, or templates you already licensed and downloaded are still yours to use according to Adobe's licensing terms, even after cancellation.
Unused credits expire
Any unused download credits from your plan will expire at the end of your current billing period. Use them before your cancellation takes effect to get full value.
Early termination fee may apply
If you cancel an annual plan early, Adobe charges 50% of the remaining months on your contract. Cancel within the first 14 days for a full refund without penalties.
Creative Cloud apps stay active
Canceling Adobe Stock does not affect your Creative Cloud subscription. Photoshop, Illustrator, and other apps will continue to work normally if you have a separate CC plan.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there an early termination fee for canceling Adobe Stock?
Yes, if you are on an annual plan paid monthly. Adobe charges 50% of the remaining months on your contract. If you are on a month-to-month plan or within the first 14 days, no fee applies.
Can I cancel Adobe Stock but keep Creative Cloud?
Absolutely. Adobe Stock and Creative Cloud are separate subscriptions. Canceling one does not affect the other. You can continue using Photoshop, Illustrator, and other apps.
What happens to my saved boards and collections?
Your saved libraries and collections in Adobe Stock will remain in your Adobe account, but you will not be able to license new assets. Previously licensed assets remain accessible in your Creative Cloud Libraries.
Can I get a refund after canceling Adobe Stock?
Adobe offers a full refund if you cancel within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal. After that window, refunds are not available, and the early termination fee applies to annual plans.
Can I pause my Adobe Stock subscription instead?
Adobe may offer a pause option when you initiate cancellation. This lets you keep your account active without being billed for up to three months. Not all accounts are eligible for this option.
