What is included in Apple One?
Apple One bundles multiple Apple services into a single monthly payment. Canceling the bundle affects all of these services at once unless you choose to keep individual subscriptions.
Cancel Apple One on iPhone or iPad
Open Settings
Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad. This is the gray gear icon on your Home Screen. Make sure you are signed in with the Apple Account that holds the Apple One subscription — if you are part of a Family Sharing group, only the organizer (the person who subscribed) can cancel it.
Tap your name (Apple Account)
Tap your name and profile picture at the very top of the Settings screen. This opens your Apple Account settings where all your subscription information, payment methods, and iCloud details are managed.
Tap Subscriptions
Tap Subscriptions to view all your active and expired Apple subscriptions. Your Apple One subscription will appear at the top of the active list, showing the plan tier (Individual, Family, or Premier) and monthly price.
Tap Apple One
Tap Apple One from the list. This opens the subscription details page showing your current plan, the services included, your next billing date, and the total monthly cost. Review this information before proceeding.
Choose Cancel All Services or Individual Services
Apple gives you two options here:
- Cancel All Services: This cancels the entire Apple One bundle. All included services (Music, TV+, Arcade, iCloud+, etc.) will end at the end of your current billing period.
- Choose Individual Services: This lets you break apart the bundle and keep only the services you want as separate individual subscriptions. You will pay the regular individual price for each service you choose to keep.
Select your preference and tap Confirm.
Cancel Apple One on Mac
Open System Settings
Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen and select System Settings. On macOS Monterey or earlier, this is called System Preferences.
Click your Apple Account
Click your name at the top of the sidebar. Then click Media & Purchases or Subscriptions (the exact label may vary depending on your macOS version).
Find Apple One and click Manage or Edit
Locate Apple One in the list and click Manage or Edit. Then click Cancel All Services or Choose Individual Services, depending on your preference. Confirm the cancellation when prompted.
Subscribed Through Apple or Google?
Apple One is exclusively an Apple service and can only be subscribed to and managed through Apple. It is not available through Google Play. However, if your Apple One was set up through a carrier promotion (like Verizon or T-Mobile), you may need to cancel through your carrier instead.

- 1. Open Settings on your iPhone
- 2. Tap your name at the top (Apple Account)
- 3. Tap Subscriptions
- 4. Tap Apple One in the list
- 5. Tap Cancel All Services and confirm

- 1. Check your carrier bill (Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.)
- 2. Log in to your carrier account or app
- 3. Navigate to Add-ons or Subscriptions
- 4. Find Apple One and select Remove
- 5. Confirm cancellation with your carrier
What Happens After You Cancel Apple One?
All services stay active until your billing period ends
Apple One is a monthly subscription. After canceling, you retain full access to Apple Music, TV+, Arcade, iCloud+, and any other included services until the last day of the billing cycle you already paid for. Nothing is cut off immediately.
Apple Music library becomes inaccessible (but is not deleted)
Your Apple Music playlists, library, and downloaded songs will become inaccessible once the subscription ends. However, Apple retains your library data. If you resubscribe to Apple Music or Apple One later, your playlists and library will be restored. Music you purchased from iTunes remains yours forever and is not affected.
iCloud storage drops to 5GB free tier
Apple One includes iCloud+ storage (50GB for Individual, 200GB for Family, 2TB for Premier). When you cancel, your storage drops to the free 5GB tier unless you subscribe to a separate iCloud+ plan. If you are over 5GB, your data may stop syncing and could be deleted after 30 days. Download your files and photos before canceling.
Family members lose access to all shared services
If you are on an Apple One Family or Premier plan, all members of your Family Sharing group will lose access to the bundled services when the subscription ends. Each family member would need to set up their own individual subscriptions to keep using Apple Music, TV+, Arcade, or other services. Make sure to notify your family members before canceling.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I cancel Apple One and keep just Apple Music or iCloud+?
Yes. When you go to cancel Apple One, Apple presents you with two options: "Cancel All Services" and "Choose Individual Services." If you select "Choose Individual Services," you can pick which services to continue as separate individual subscriptions at their standard monthly prices. This is useful if you only want one or two services and the bundle is no longer a good value for you.
What happens to my Apple Arcade game progress?
Your Apple Arcade game saves and progress are stored in iCloud. When Apple One expires, you lose access to Apple Arcade games, but your save data remains in iCloud as long as you have sufficient iCloud storage. If you resubscribe to Apple Arcade or Apple One, your game progress will be available again. However, if your iCloud storage also drops and your data is deleted, your game saves may be lost.
Is Apple One cheaper than individual subscriptions?
Usually, yes. Apple One is designed to save you money compared to subscribing to each service individually. For example, the Individual plan includes Apple Music, TV+, Arcade, and 50GB iCloud+ for less than the combined individual prices. Before canceling, consider whether you would end up paying more to keep the services you want separately.
Do I get a refund when I cancel Apple One?
No. Apple does not provide refunds for partial billing periods on Apple One. Your access to all bundled services continues until the end of the current billing cycle. Apple One is billed monthly, so you will have at most one month of remaining access after canceling.
Can family members cancel Apple One, or only the organizer?
Only the Family Sharing organizer (the person who subscribed to Apple One) can cancel the subscription. Family members cannot cancel or modify the Apple One plan. If you are a family member and want to stop using a service, you can uninstall the app, but the organizer will still be billed for the full bundle. The organizer must go to Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions to make any changes.
