Cancel Aura via Apple Subscriptions (iPhone/iPad)

Aura is primarily an iOS app and most users subscribe through the Apple App Store. You cannot cancel from within the Aura app itself. Follow these steps instead:

1

Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad

Tap the Settings app on your home screen. This is where Apple manages all your subscriptions, not the Aura app itself.

2

Tap your name at the top

Tap your name at the top of Settings to access your Apple Account. This is where your Apple ID, payment info, and subscriptions live.

3

Tap Subscriptions

Select Subscriptions to see a list of all your active and expired subscriptions managed through Apple.

4

Select Aura and cancel

Find Aura in the list and tap it. Then tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial) at the bottom. Confirm when prompted. You will receive a confirmation and retain access until your current billing period ends.

What Happens After You Cancel Aura?

You keep access until your billing period ends

After canceling, you can continue using all premium Aura features until the end of your current billing cycle. No access is cut off immediately.

Free features remain available

Aura still offers a limited free tier with some meditations and features. After your premium access ends, you can still use the app with the free content library.

Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription

Simply removing the Aura app from your phone will not stop billing. You must cancel through Apple or Google subscription settings to stop charges.

Your meditation history is saved

Your account data, meditation history, and personalized preferences are saved even after canceling. If you decide to resubscribe, everything will be restored.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I get a refund if I cancel Aura?

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not Aura directly. You can request a refund through Apple's Report a Problem page (reportaproblem.apple.com) within 14 days of purchase, though approval is not guaranteed.

Can I cancel Aura from the app?

No. Aura subscriptions are managed through Apple or Google. You need to cancel through your iPhone Settings or Google Play Store, not from within the Aura app itself.

I canceled but I am still being charged. What should I do?

Make sure you canceled through Apple or Google subscription settings and not just deleted the app. Go to Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions and verify Aura shows as canceled. If it still shows active, cancel it there.

How do I cancel Aura's free trial?

Follow the same steps. Go to Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions > Aura > Cancel Free Trial. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged.

Can I resubscribe to Aura later?

Yes. You can resubscribe at any time by opening the Aura app and following the prompts to start a new subscription. Your previous account data should still be available.
