Method 1: Cancel on the Bark Website
Log in to your Bark account
Go to bark.us and sign in with your parent account email and password. Make sure you are logged in as the account owner, not a child account.
Go to Account Settings
Click on your Account or profile icon and navigate to Subscription or Billing. Here you can see your current plan (Bark Jr or Bark Premium), next billing date, and payment details.
Click Cancel Subscription
Find the Cancel Subscription option. Bark may ask why you are leaving and offer alternatives. If you want to proceed, click through the cancellation flow and confirm. Your monitoring continues until the end of your current billing period.
Verify and save confirmation
Check for a confirmation email. Screenshot the cancellation page. After your subscription ends, Bark stops monitoring your children's accounts and devices. Consider uninstalling the Bark app from your kids' devices as well.
Method 2: Cancel via App Store / Google Play
Check your billing source
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you must cancel through that platform. iPhone: Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions. Android: Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
Find Bark and cancel
Locate Bark in your subscriptions list and tap Cancel Subscription. Confirm when prompted. The Bark website cannot cancel app-store-managed subscriptions.
Pro Tip: Remove Bark From Kids' Devices
After canceling, remember to remove Bark's monitoring profiles and apps from your children's devices. On iPhones, go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management to remove the Bark profile. On Android, uninstall the Bark Kids app. Otherwise, some device management features may linger.
What Happens After You Cancel Bark?
Monitoring access continues until period ends
Bark continues monitoring and sending alerts until your current billing period expires. You do not lose access immediately upon canceling.
All monitoring stops at expiration
Once your plan expires, Bark stops monitoring your children's texts, emails, social media, and online activity. No more alerts for concerning content. All monitoring data is no longer accessible.
Screen time rules are removed
If you use Bark's screen time management features, those rules stop being enforced on your children's devices. Kids regain unrestricted access to apps and websites that were previously blocked.
Device management may linger
Bark's device management profiles on your children's phones may need to be manually removed even after cancellation. Check their device settings and remove any Bark-related profiles or apps.

Can I get a refund from Bark?
Bark handles refunds on a case-by-case basis. If you were recently charged and want to cancel, contact Bark support at bark.us/help. The sooner you reach out after a charge, the better your chances of getting a refund.
What is the difference between Bark Jr and Bark Premium?
Bark Jr ($5/mo) offers screen time management, web filtering, and location alerts. Bark Premium ($14/mo) adds monitoring of texts, emails, social media, and 30+ apps and platforms for concerning content like cyberbullying and online predators.
Will my child know I canceled Bark?
