Open your browser and head to britbox.com. Sign in with the email and password you used when you created your BritBox account. If you have forgotten your password, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to reset it.

Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the page. From the dropdown menu, select Account. This will bring you to the page where your subscription details, billing info, and plan type are displayed.

In the subscription section of your account page, look for the Cancel Subscription button or link. Click it. BritBox may try to tempt you with a special offer or ask why you are leaving -- feel free to skip through these retention screens.

Confirm your cancellation

Click the final Confirm Cancellation button. You should see a confirmation message on screen, and BritBox will send you a confirmation email. You will keep access until the end of your current billing period -- so binge those last few episodes of Midsomer Murders while you still can.

Important: This method only works if you signed up directly on the BritBox website. If you subscribed through Apple, Google, or Amazon, you will need to cancel through that platform instead (see below).
