Log in to Make
Go to make.com and sign in with the account that owns the subscription. If you are part of a team organization, you will need admin or owner permissions to manage billing.
Open Organization Settings
Click on your organization name in the left sidebar (or the bottom-left corner), then navigate to the Organization settings. This is the command center for billing and subscription management.
Go to Subscription
Click on Subscription (or Billing) to see your current plan, operations usage, next billing date, and payment method. Take note of your remaining operations and billing cycle.
Click Cancel Subscription
Find the Cancel subscription option. Make will try to retain you with a downgrade suggestion, a discount, or a reminder of how many operations you have been running. Decline if you are sure.
Confirm Cancellation
Confirm your decision to cancel. You will receive a confirmation email. Your paid plan stays active until the end of your current billing period, then you drop to the free tier with limited operations and scenarios.
Export Your Scenario Blueprints
Before canceling, export your scenario blueprints as JSON files. Open each scenario, click the three-dot menu (or right-click), and select Export Blueprint. This saves the workflow structure so you can import it later or into another Make account. Note that API connections and credentials are NOT included in exports for security reasons -- you will need to reconnect services if you reimport.
Cancel Make via App Store or Google Play
Make is primarily a web platform, but if you subscribed through a mobile app store, cancel there.
Apple App Store
- 1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
- 2. Tap your name at the top
- 3. Tap Subscriptions
- 4. Find and tap Make
- 5. Tap Cancel Subscription
Google Play Store
- 1. Open the Google Play Store app
- 2. Tap your profile icon
- 3. Tap Payments & subscriptions
- 4. Tap Subscriptions
- 5. Find Make and tap Cancel
What Happens After You Cancel Make?
Scenarios revert to free tier limits
On the free plan, you get 2 active scenarios and 1,000 operations per month. Any scenarios beyond that limit are deactivated and stop running. Your workflow designs are preserved though -- they are just paused, not deleted.
Operations cap drops significantly
Paid plans include 10,000+ operations per month. The free tier gives you just 1,000. If your active scenarios use more than that, they will stop mid-month when you hit the cap. Plan accordingly.
Data stores and connections remain
Your data stores, connections to external services, and webhooks stay in your account. They are just limited by the free tier. If you resubscribe later, everything is ready to go without reconfiguring.
Execution history limited
The free plan retains less execution history than paid plans. If you need logs of past scenario runs for debugging or compliance, export or screenshot them before your paid plan expires.
Alternatives to Make
Zapier
The most popular automation platform with the largest app library. More expensive but easier to use for beginners.
n8n
Open-source and self-hostable. Most similar to Make's visual workflow builder. Free if you self-host.
Pipedream
Developer-friendly automation with generous free tier. Write custom code or use no-code steps. Great for technical users.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens to my scenarios when I cancel?
Your scenarios stay in your account but the free plan limits you to 2 active scenarios with 1,000 operations per month. All other scenarios are deactivated (paused). They are not deleted -- if you resubscribe, you can reactivate them instantly. Choose your 2 most important scenarios to keep running.
Can I export my scenarios?
Yes. Open each scenario, click the three-dot menu, and select Export Blueprint. This downloads a JSON file with the complete workflow structure. You can reimport these blueprints later into the same or a different Make account. Just keep in mind that API keys and credentials are stripped from exports for security.
Can I get a refund from Make?
Make handles refund requests through their support team. Monthly plans are generally not refunded for the current period. Annual plans may have different terms. If you have just been charged and want to cancel immediately, reach out to Make support to discuss your options.
Is Make still called Integromat?
Make rebranded from Integromat in early 2022. It is the same platform, same team, same technology -- just a new name and interface. If you are searching for "cancel Integromat," you are in the right place. The cancellation process is the same.
Can I downgrade instead of fully canceling?
Absolutely. Make offers several tiers, and downgrading might save you money while keeping more scenarios active than the free plan allows. The Core plan starts at $9/month with 10,000 operations. Check your actual usage in Organization > Subscription to see if a lower tier covers your needs.
