Showtime has merged into Paramount+. Here is how to cancel your Showtime or Paramount+ with Showtime subscription, whether you signed up directly or through a third-party provider.

Important: Showtime Has Merged Into Paramount+
As of 2024, Showtime is no longer available as a standalone streaming service. The Showtime brand has been integrated into Paramount+ as the "Paramount+ with Showtime" plan tier. If you still have an active Showtime subscription, it has likely been migrated to Paramount+. To cancel, you will need to manage your Paramount+ subscription.
Cancel via Paramount+ Website
Determine Who Bills You
Check your bank or credit card statement. If you see a charge from Paramount+ or CBS Interactive, cancel through the Paramount+ website. If the charge is from Amazon, Apple, Roku, or your cable provider, you need to cancel through that platform instead.
Sign in to Paramount+
Go to paramountplus.com and sign in with the email and password associated with your account. If you previously had a standalone Showtime account, your credentials may have been migrated.
Go to Account Settings
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner, then select Account. This page shows your current plan, billing cycle, and payment method.
Click Cancel Subscription
Under your subscription details, click Cancel Subscription. If you are on the Paramount+ with Showtime bundle, canceling will end both Paramount+ and Showtime access. You may be offered a downgrade to a cheaper Paramount+ plan without Showtime.
Confirm Cancellation
Paramount+ may ask why you are leaving and try to offer a discount. Click through the prompts and confirm your cancellation. You will receive a confirmation email and retain access until the end of your billing period.
Subscribed Through Apple or Google?
If you subscribed to Showtime or Paramount+ with Showtime through the Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon Prime Video Channels, or Roku, you must cancel through that platform. The Paramount+ website will not show a cancel option.

- 1. Open Settings on your iPhone
- 2. Tap your name at the top (Apple Account)
- 3. Tap Subscriptions
- 4. Tap Showtime or Paramount+
- 5. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm
Cancel via Android
- 1. Open the Google Play Store app
- 2. Tap your profile icon (top right)
- 3. Tap Payments & subscriptions
- 4. Tap Subscriptions then Paramount+
- 5. Tap Cancel subscription and confirm
What Happens After You Cancel Showtime?
You keep access until your billing period ends
Your Paramount+ with Showtime access continues until the end of the current billing cycle. You can keep watching all Showtime content until that date.
Showtime content is only on Paramount+
Since the merger, all Showtime original series, movies, and documentaries are exclusively available through the Paramount+ with Showtime plan. There is no separate Showtime app to access this content.
No refunds for partial billing periods
Paramount+ does not provide prorated refunds. If you cancel mid-cycle, you will not receive a refund for the remaining days in that period.
You can downgrade instead of fully canceling
If you still want Paramount+ but not the Showtime tier, you may be offered the option to downgrade to a cheaper Paramount+ Essential or Paramount+ plan without the Showtime add-on.

Is Showtime still available as a standalone service?
No. Showtime has been fully merged into Paramount+ as of 2024. The standalone Showtime app and Showtime.com website have been shut down. All Showtime content is now available exclusively through the Paramount+ with Showtime plan tier.
How do I cancel Showtime on Amazon Prime Video?
Go to Amazon.com, hover over Account & Lists, click Memberships & Subscriptions. Find your Showtime or Paramount+ with Showtime channel and click Cancel Channel. Your access continues until the end of the current billing cycle.
Can I cancel Showtime on Roku?
If you subscribed through Roku, go to my.roku.com and sign in. Navigate to Manage Subscriptions, find Showtime or Paramount+, and click Cancel Subscription. You can also manage this from the Roku device under Settings.
Will I get a refund after canceling?
No. Neither Paramount+ nor third-party platforms typically offer refunds for partial billing periods. You retain access to all content until the current billing period expires.
I am still being charged for Showtime. What should I do?
If you see charges and thought you canceled, check all possible billing sources: Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, your cable provider, and Paramount+ directly. The charge may be coming from a platform you forgot about. Contact the billing platform's support for help.
