Cancel via Skype Account Portal
Sign in to your Skype account
Go to secure.skype.com/portal/overview and sign in with your Microsoft account. If you cannot remember which Microsoft account is linked to your Skype, check your email for past Skype receipts -- they will have the right login info.
Go to Account Overview
Once logged in, navigate to the Account Overview page. Here you will see all your active Skype services, including calling plans, Skype Numbers, and any Skype Credit balance.
Find your subscription
Locate your active subscription -- whether it is a Calling Plan (for calling landlines and mobiles) or a Skype Number (for receiving calls). Click on the subscription you want to cancel.
Click Cancel Subscription
Click Cancel Subscription and confirm. Your plan remains active until the end of the billing period. Skype-to-Skype calls remain free, so you can still call grandma without paying a penny.
Keep your credit alive: Skype Credit does not expire as long as you use it at least once every 180 days. Even a quick call or text keeps it active, so you do not lose unused balance.
