Cancel Airtable on the Website

1

Log in to Airtable

Go to airtable.com in your web browser and sign in with the account that owns the workspace you want to cancel. Only the workspace owner or billing admin can make changes to the subscription.

2

Open Workspace Billing

Click on your workspace name in the left sidebar, then navigate to the Billing section. You can also access this through Account settings. This is where all plan details and payment information are displayed.

3

Click Change Plan

Under the Plan details section, click Change plan. This opens a page showing all available Airtable plan tiers, including the Free plan option.

4

Select Cancel Plan and Confirm

Choose Cancel plan or select the Free plan to downgrade. Airtable will ask you to confirm your decision. Follow the prompts to finalize. You will receive a confirmation email once the cancellation is processed.

What Happens After You Cancel Airtable?

You keep access until your billing period ends

Airtable does not cut off access immediately. You can continue using your paid features until the end of the current billing cycle you already paid for.

Your bases and data are preserved

Downgrading to the free plan does not delete your bases or records. However, features that exceed the free plan limits (such as expanded record counts, larger attachment storage, and advanced views) may become restricted.

No prorated refunds

Airtable generally does not provide prorated refunds for unused time. Even if you cancel early in your billing cycle, you will not receive money back for the remaining days.

Collaborators remain but lose paid features

Your collaborators can still access shared bases, but everyone loses access to paid features like Gantt views, advanced automations, and expanded API limits once the downgrade takes effect.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I lose my data if I cancel Airtable?

No. Your bases, records, and data are not deleted when you downgrade. However, if your bases exceed the free plan record limits, you will not be able to add new records until you are under the limit. Existing data remains accessible.

Can I get a refund for my Airtable subscription?

Airtable generally does not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Your paid features remain active until the end of the billing cycle you already paid for.

Who can cancel an Airtable workspace plan?

Only the workspace owner or a billing admin can cancel the subscription. Regular collaborators and editors do not have access to billing settings. Check with your workspace owner if you need assistance.

Can I resubscribe to Airtable after canceling?

Yes. You can upgrade back to a paid plan at any time from the Billing section of your workspace. Your bases and data will still be there, and you will regain access to all paid features immediately.
