Both Apple and Google require you to cancel at least 24 hours before the subscription or trial renews. Calm's annual plan is especially important to cancel early since the yearly charge can be significant. Also, deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
Cancel Calm via the Calm App or Website
Open the Calm app or go to calm.com
If you subscribed directly through Calm (not through Apple or Google), open the Calm app or go to calm.com in your web browser and log in to your account.
Go to your Profile settings
In the app, tap Profile on the home screen. Then tap the gear icon in the upper-left corner to open Settings. On the website, click Profile and then the gear icon or Settings.
Tap Manage Subscription
In your Settings, look for Manage Subscription and tap or click it. If you subscribed through Apple or Google, this button may redirect you to your device's subscription settings instead.
Cancel Subscription and confirm (twice)
Tap Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts. Calm may ask you to confirm your cancellation twice to make sure you want to proceed. Complete both confirmation steps to finalize the cancellation.
Subscribed Through Apple or Google?
If you subscribed to Calm through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you must cancel through those platforms. The Calm app or website cannot cancel subscriptions managed by Apple or Google.

What Happens After You Cancel Calm?
Access continues until your billing period ends
After canceling, you keep full access to all premium Calm content until the end of your current billing period. This includes all guided meditations, Sleep Stories, music, and masterclasses.
Some free content remains available
After your subscription expires, you still have access to a limited selection of free content. This includes the Daily Calm (if available in the free tier), basic breathing exercises, and a few introductory meditations. However, the vast majority of content is locked behind the paywall.
You lose guided meditations and Sleep Stories
The core premium content that most people subscribe for — hundreds of guided meditations, Sleep Stories narrated by celebrities, music tracks for focus and relaxation, and masterclass courses — all become inaccessible once your subscription ends.
Your account and progress are saved
Calm keeps your account data, meditation streak, favorites, and progress on file. If you resubscribe later, you can pick up right where you left off without losing anything.
