Cancel Factor on the Website
Log in to your Factor account
Go to factormeals.com and sign in with the email address and password you used when you subscribed. If you forgot your password, use the reset link on the login page.
Skip all upcoming weeks first
This step is critical. Go to My Menu or Upcoming Deliveries and skip every scheduled week that has not passed the weekly cutoff (Wednesday at 11:59 PM ET). If you do not skip, you will still be charged and receive deliveries even after you deactivate your account.
Open your Plan Settings on Factor
Click your name in the top-right corner of factormeals.com, then select Settings from the dropdown. On the settings page, scroll to the Plan section. This is where Factor buries the deactivation option -- it is not in the main navigation or dashboard.
Click Deactivate My Account
Scroll down on the settings page until you find the Deactivate My Account or Cancel Plan link. It is usually located at the bottom of the page in smaller text. Click it to begin the cancellation process.
Complete the cancellation survey and confirm
Factor will ask you why you are leaving and may offer discounts, free boxes, or suggest pausing instead. Decline any retention offers if you want to fully cancel. Select a reason, then click the final Deactivate or Cancel button to confirm. You should receive a confirmation email.
Subscribed Through Apple or Google?
Factor subscriptions are primarily managed through their website. However, if you signed up through the iOS or Android app and are billed through Apple or Google, you will need to cancel through those platforms.

What Happens After You Cancel Factor?
Already-processed orders will still ship
If an order has already passed the weekly cutoff, it will still be prepared and delivered. Canceling your account does not stop orders already in the pipeline. That is why skipping upcoming weeks first is essential.
Your account information is saved
Factor retains your account details, meal preferences, and delivery information. If you decide to reactivate later, you can log back in and resume your subscription without setting everything up again.
Watch out for promotional reactivation emails
Factor frequently sends promotional emails with discount offers to win you back. Be aware that clicking a promotional link and selecting meals could accidentally reactivate your subscription. Unsubscribe from marketing emails if you want to avoid this.
Unused credits or promotions are forfeited
Any promotional credits, free meals, or special discounts tied to your account will be lost once you cancel. If you have credits remaining, consider using them before deactivating.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to skip weeks before canceling Factor?
Yes. Factor processes orders on a weekly schedule with a cutoff typically on Wednesday at 11:59 PM ET. If you do not skip upcoming weeks before that cutoff, the orders will still be placed and billed even after account deactivation. Always skip all scheduled weeks first.
Can I cancel Factor by phone or email?
Factor's primary cancellation method is through the website. However, you can also contact their customer support team via chat on the website or by calling their support line. Be prepared for retention attempts and offers to pause instead of cancel.
What is the difference between pausing and canceling Factor?
Pausing (skipping weeks) keeps your account active but prevents deliveries for the skipped weeks. Canceling (deactivating) completely stops your subscription. If you might want to return, skipping several weeks at a time can serve as an effective pause.
Will Factor charge me after I cancel?
If you properly skipped all upcoming weeks and then deactivated your account, you should not be charged further. However, if an order was already past the cutoff when you canceled, you will be billed for that delivery. Check your email for confirmation of your cancellation.
Can I reactivate my Factor subscription later?
Yes. Simply log back in to factormeals.com with your original credentials, choose a plan, select your meals, and your subscription will resume. Your account information and preferences should still be on file.
