Cancel Paramount+ on the Website
Log in to Paramount+
Go to paramountplus.com in your web browser and sign in with the email address and password you used to create your account. Make sure you are using the account that holds the subscription, not a shared profile.
Go to Account Settings
Click your username or profile icon in the top-right corner of the page. From the dropdown menu, select Account. This takes you to the page with your subscription plan, billing info, and account details.
Click Cancel Subscription
Scroll down to find the Cancel Subscription button under your plan details. Click it. Paramount+ may show you a retention offer such as a discounted price or a free month. You can decline these offers if you want to proceed.
Click Continue to Cancel
Click Continue to Cancel to proceed past any retention offers. Paramount+ will show you a summary of what you will lose access to, including any Showtime content if you have the bundle.
Confirm Your Cancellation
Check the terms of cancellation checkbox and click Yes, Cancel to finalize. You will receive a confirmation email. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.
Showtime Bundle Warning
If you have the Paramount+ with Showtime plan, canceling will end access to both Paramount+ and Showtime content. There is no way to cancel just one part of the bundle. If you only want Showtime, you would need to subscribe to it separately after canceling.
Subscribed Through Apple, Google, or Another Platform?
If you signed up for Paramount+ through the Apple App Store, Google Play, Roku, or Amazon Prime Video Channels, you must cancel through that platform. The Paramount+ website will not show a cancel option for third-party subscriptions.

What Happens After You Cancel Paramount+?
You keep access until your billing period ends
Paramount+ does not cut off access immediately. You can continue watching all content, including Showtime titles if you have the bundle, until the end of your current billing cycle.
Your account and data are preserved
Your Paramount+ account is not deleted. Watch history, profiles, and saved content lists remain intact. If you resubscribe later, everything will be where you left it.
Downloaded content becomes unavailable
Any shows or movies you downloaded for offline viewing will stop working once your billing period ends. Make sure to finish watching any downloaded content before your subscription expires.
Showtime access ends with the bundle
If you have the Paramount+ with Showtime plan, both services are canceled together. You cannot keep one and cancel the other. To access Showtime separately, you would need a standalone Showtime subscription.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will I get a refund if I cancel Paramount+?
Paramount+ generally does not issue refunds for partial billing periods on monthly plans. If you are on an annual plan and cancel early, you may be eligible for a prorated refund. Contact Paramount+ customer support to ask about your specific situation.
Can I switch from the Showtime bundle to a cheaper plan instead of canceling?
Yes. Instead of canceling entirely, you can downgrade to a Paramount+ Essential or Paramount+ with Ads plan. Go to your Account settings on the website and select a different plan instead of canceling.
How do I know which platform I subscribed through?
Check your bank statement or credit card bill. If the charge shows "Paramount+" or "CBS Interactive," you subscribed directly. If it shows Apple, Google, Amazon, or Roku, you need to cancel through that platform instead.
Can I cancel Paramount+ from the mobile app?
