How to Cancel Your
Patreon Subscription

Cancel Patreon on the Website
Log in to Patreon
Go to patreon.com in your web browser and sign in with the account that holds the membership you want to cancel. Make sure you are logged into the correct account if you have multiple.
Go to your Memberships
Click your profile photo in the bottom-left corner of the page and select Settings from the menu. Then navigate to the Memberships tab in the menu bar. This shows all your active creator pledges.
Edit the Membership
Find the creator whose membership you want to cancel and click the Edit button within that creator's card. On the next screen, select Edit or Cancel Membership to proceed to the cancellation options.
Confirm Cancellation
Choose Cancel your membership, then click the red Cancel button to confirm. You may be given an optional anonymous exit survey. After confirming, your membership will end at the close of your current billing period.
Subscribed Through Apple or Google?
If you signed up for Patreon through the iOS App Store using in-app purchases, you need to cancel through Apple. Memberships made via iOS in-app purchases must be managed through your Apple account. If you no longer have access to an iOS device, you can cancel on the web and resubscribe on a new device.

- 3. Tap Subscriptions
- 4. Tap Patreon in the list
- 5. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm
Cancel via Android
- 1. Open the Google Play Store app
- 2. Tap your profile icon (top right)
- 3. Tap Payments & subscriptions
- 4. Tap Subscriptions then Patreon
- 5. Tap Cancel subscription and confirm
What Happens After You Cancel Patreon?
You keep access until your billing period ends
Patreon does not cut off access immediately. You can continue viewing patron-only content from that creator until the end of the billing cycle you already paid for.
Exclusive content access ends after your period expires
Once your paid billing period is over, you will lose access to all patron-only posts, downloads, Discord roles, and any other membership perks from that creator.
Each membership is separate
Canceling your pledge to one creator does not affect your memberships with other creators on Patreon. You need to cancel each one individually if you want to stop all pledges.
You can rejoin anytime
If you change your mind, you can rejoin any creator's Patreon at any time by visiting their page and selecting a membership tier. Your previous pledge history is not lost.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will I get a refund if I cancel Patreon?
No. Patreon does not typically offer refunds for payments already processed. Your access to patron-only content continues until the end of the billing period you paid for. Contact Patreon support if you believe you were charged in error.
Can I cancel just one creator and keep my other memberships?
Yes. Each Patreon membership is independent. Canceling your pledge to one creator has no effect on your memberships with other creators. You manage each one separately from your Memberships tab.
What if I subscribed through the iOS app?
If your Patreon membership was set up through iOS in-app purchases, you need to cancel through Apple's subscription settings on your iPhone or iPad. The Patreon website will not show a cancel option for these subscriptions. If you no longer have an iOS device, you can cancel on the web and resubscribe on your new device.
Can I pause my Patreon membership instead of canceling?
Some creators may offer the ability to pause or adjust your membership tier. Check the creator's page for tier options. Alternatively, you can cancel and rejoin later when you are ready to resume supporting that creator.
