Cancel Perplexity Pro on the Website
Sign in to Perplexity
Go to perplexity.ai in your web browser and sign in with the account that has the Pro subscription. Ensure you are using the same login method (Google, Apple, or email) that you used to subscribe.
Go to Settings
Click on the Settings icon, usually found in the sidebar or under your profile menu. This opens your account and preferences page.
Find the Subscription section
Scroll down the Settings page until you see the Subscription section under Perplexity Pro. This area shows your current plan, billing date, and subscription management options.
Click Manage Subscription
Click Manage Subscription. You will be redirected to your current plan page where you can see plan details and billing information.
Cancel subscription
Click Cancel subscription and follow the prompts to confirm. Perplexity may ask why you are canceling. After confirming, your Pro subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
Subscribed Through Apple or Google?
If you subscribed to Perplexity Pro through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you need to cancel through those platforms. The website will not show a cancel option for app store subscriptions.

What Happens After You Cancel Perplexity Pro?
Pro features last until your billing period ends
After canceling, you retain full access to all Perplexity Pro features, including unlimited Pro searches and file uploads, until the end of your current billing cycle.
You are downgraded to the free plan
Once your billing period ends, your account reverts to the free version of Perplexity. You will have a limited number of Pro searches per day and will lose access to advanced AI models and file upload features.
Your search history and threads are preserved
Your previous searches, threads, and collections are not deleted when you cancel. You can still access your search history and saved threads on the free plan.
Resubscribing is easy
You can reactivate Pro at any time by going to Settings, finding the Subscription section, clicking Manage Subscription, and selecting Renew plan or Update plan to restart your subscription.
