What Happens After You Cancel Replit?
Public Repls remain accessible
Your public Repls stay online and accessible to anyone. They continue to run within the limitations of the free tier. You can still edit and fork them.
Private Repls may become restricted
The free plan has limits on private Repls. Some private projects may become read-only or you may need to make them public to continue editing. Download your code before canceling if needed.
Compute resources are reduced
You lose access to boosted compute power, additional storage, and faster execution speeds. Your Repls will run with free-tier resource limits, which may affect performance.
AI features are removed
Replit's AI coding assistant and Ghostwriter features require a paid plan. After canceling, you lose access to AI code completion, explanation, and generation tools.
