Cancel Stitch Fix on the Website
Sign in to Stitch Fix
Go to stitchfix.com in your web browser and sign in with the email and password linked to your account. Make sure you are using the correct account if your household has multiple Stitch Fix profiles.
Go to Your Account Settings
Click your profile icon or name in the navigation area. Select Settings or Account from the menu. This takes you to your account management page where you can control your Fix schedule and account preferences.
Turn Off Automatic Fixes
In your account settings, find the Fix Schedule section. If you have automatic Fixes enabled (such as monthly, every 2 months, or every 3 months), toggle this setting to off or select No automatic shipments. This stops Stitch Fix from automatically sending you new Fixes.
Cancel Any Pending Fix (If Applicable)
If you have a Fix currently in progress or scheduled, check your Fix queue and cancel any pending orders. A Fix that has already been styled and is being prepared for shipping may not be cancelable. Contact Stitch Fix support if you need to stop a Fix that is in progress.
Deactivate Your Account (Optional)
If you want to fully close your Stitch Fix account rather than just pausing Fixes, scroll to the bottom of your Settings page and look for Deactivate Account. Click it and confirm. This removes your style profile and personal information. Note that this action is more permanent than simply turning off automatic Fixes.
Subscribed Through Apple or Google?
Stitch Fix does not use Apple or Google subscription billing. All charges go directly through the payment method on your Stitch Fix account. You manage everything through the Stitch Fix website or app.

What Happens After You Cancel Stitch Fix?
No more automatic Fixes are sent
Once you turn off automatic Fixes, Stitch Fix will stop scheduling and sending new Fixes. You will not be charged the $20 styling fee for any future Fixes. Any Fix that has already been processed and shipped will still arrive.
Your style profile stays saved
If you only turn off automatic Fixes without deactivating, your style profile, size preferences, and feedback history remain saved. You can request a one-time Fix whenever you want without committing to a schedule.
Return any unwanted items from your last Fix
If you received a Fix and have not yet checked out, make sure to return any items you do not want to keep within the 3-day checkout window. Use the prepaid return envelope included in your box. You are only charged for items you keep.
Account deactivation removes your data
If you choose to deactivate your account (rather than just stopping automatic Fixes), your style profile, preferences, and account data will be removed. You would need to create a new account and rebuild your style profile if you want to use Stitch Fix in the future.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Stitch Fix a subscription service?
Stitch Fix is not a traditional subscription with a recurring monthly fee. Instead, you can schedule automatic Fixes on a recurring basis (every 2-3 weeks, monthly, every 2 months, or every 3 months). Each Fix has a $20 styling fee that is applied as credit toward items you keep. You can also order Fixes on demand without a schedule.
Can I get a refund on the $20 styling fee?
The $20 styling fee is charged when your Fix is processed and is non-refundable. However, if you purchase any items from your Fix, the $20 is credited toward your total purchase price. If you keep all 5 items, you receive a 25% discount on the entire order.
What is the difference between pausing and deactivating?
Turning off automatic Fixes is like pausing. Your account remains active and you can request a Fix anytime. Deactivating permanently closes your account and removes your style data. If you might want to come back, simply turn off automatic Fixes rather than deactivating.
Can I still shop Stitch Fix Freestyle after canceling?
Yes. Even after turning off automatic Fixes, you can still browse and shop from Stitch Fix Freestyle, their online shopping experience where you buy individual items without a stylist. Your account just needs to remain active (not deactivated).
How do I contact Stitch Fix support?
You can reach Stitch Fix support through their help center at support.stitchfix.com. They offer email support and a comprehensive FAQ section. You can also contact them through the Stitch Fix app by navigating to Help in the menu.
