How to Cancel Tata 1mg Care Plan (TATALY)
Cancelling the Care Plan (the product app stores still tag as TATALY) is a 3-tap job inside the 1mg app, if you have not used a single benefit yet. Most people have. That is where this guide starts.
Read this before you tap anything
The Care Plan has a built-in catch-22.
1mg's policy gives a full refund only if "zero benefits have been used." But the Care Plan is almost always sold at medicine checkout, and the discount applies to that same cart in the same tap. The instant the order goes through, you have used a benefit. The cancel button on that order disappears.
One documented complaint puts it bluntly: refund "is not possible as you have already used the membership for ordering medicines." If the self-serve flow below shows no Cancel button, that is why. Skip to the customer-care path.
The 3 taps (if the button still shows)
Same path in the app and at 1mg.com. No retention screen, no counter-offer, no chat agent.
Open 1mg, tap Account, then My Orders
Care Plan purchases live with your medicine orders, not in a separate Subscriptions tab. On desktop, sign in at 1mg.com and open the profile dropdown.
Open the Care Plan / My Plan / TATALY order
Scroll to the order labelled Care Plan (older receipts say TATALY). Tap in. If it was bundled with medicine, the membership is a separate line item inside the order.
Tap Cancel and confirm
A confirmation prompt appears. Confirm. The cancellation lands in your account history. If you do not see a Cancel button on this screen at all, you have already used a benefit (see the catch-22 above). Email [email protected] or call 1800-212-2323 and ask in writing for the membership to be cancelled and not auto-renewed.
The step nobody mentions
Cancelling in 1mg does not kill the UPI AutoPay mandate.
If you paid through UPI AutoPay, the mandate sits with your bank, not with 1mg. Cancelling inside the 1mg app removes 1mg's intent to bill, but the bank's standing authorisation is untouched, and any matching debit request can still go through. Per HDFC Bank's UPI guide, the only way to revoke it is inside your UPI app.

- PhonePe: Profile icon › Autopay › tap the 1mg mandate › Cancel.
- Google Pay: Profile › Autopay › select the mandate › Cancel autopay.
- Paytm: Profile › UPI & Payment Settings › Manage UPI Autopay › cancel.
If you used a credit or debit card, you can skip this step. Card autopay dies with the cancellation.
When does access actually stop?
You keep Care Plan benefits through the end of your paid term. A 6-month plan cancelled in month two still gives you discounts, free deliveries, and consultations until month six. 1mg does not prorate the unused months, but there is no early-termination fee either.
One renewal note: 1mg's terms describe the price as "introductory" and reserve the right to auto-renew at "updated prices." Screenshot your current price now if you plan to continue, so the next charge cannot quietly bump up.
Questions people actually ask
Why is the Cancel button missing on my Care Plan order?
You have already used a benefit. Any medicine discount, free delivery, lab test, or consultation counts, including the Care Plan discount on the purchase order itself. 1mg then treats the plan as non-refundable. Email [email protected] or call 1800-212-2323 to at least kill auto-renewal.
Is TATALY the same product as the 1mg Care Plan?
Yes. TATALY is the name on some app store and payment-receipt listings. The 1mg app and website call it Care Plan or My Plan. Cancelling either name cancels the same subscription. You only need to find the Care Plan order in My Orders.
I cancelled inside 1mg. Why did my bank still debit a renewal?
Almost certainly because you paid by UPI AutoPay and the mandate is still active in your UPI app. Revoke it in PhonePe / Google Pay / Paytm under Manage Mandates. If the debit already happened, raise a dispute with the UPI app and email [email protected] asking for a refund as the membership was cancelled.
I got the Care Plan free via Airtel Thanks or Tata Neu. How do I cancel?
Bundles are cancelled at the partner, not at 1mg. Open Airtel Thanks or Tata Neu, find the 1mg benefit, and remove or disable it there. 1mg support will usually redirect you back to the partner anyway.
