TOI+ is the premium subscription from the Times of India, offering ad-free reading, exclusive stories, and in-depth analysis. If you subscribed through the website or one of the Times Internet apps, follow these steps to cancel your recurring charges and turn off auto-renewal.
Go to timesofindia.indiatimes.com and click the sign-in button. Use the email address, Google, or Facebook account linked to your TOI+ subscription. If you're already logged in, click your profile avatar in the header.
Navigate to My Account and find the Subscription or TOI+ section. This page shows your current plan, billing cycle, and next renewal date. It also indicates whether you subscribed via the website or app store.
Click Cancel Subscription or Manage Plan. TOI may present an offer to retain you or ask why you're cancelling. Complete the cancellation flow and look for a confirmation message on screen. Check your email for a cancellation receipt.
Premium access remains until your current billing cycle ends. You can continue reading TOI+ exclusive content until that date.
No future billing. Your payment method will not be charged once auto-renewal is turned off.
Ad-supported access. After expiry, you revert to the free tier with ads and limited article access per month.
No prorated refunds. TOI+ does not typically offer partial refunds for unused time in the current period.
TOI+ offers multiple plans. The monthly plan typically costs around Rs 199/month, while annual plans offer discounts. Prices may vary based on promotions and plan type.
TOI+ generally follows a no-refund policy for the current billing period. Your premium access continues until the subscription expires. For billing issues, contact TOI customer support.
Your TOI account and reading history remain intact. However, you will lose access to TOI+ exclusive articles, ad-free reading, and premium features once the subscription period ends.
