Cancel Castro via Apple Subscriptions
Open Settings on your iPhone
Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad. Castro is an iOS-only app, so all subscriptions are managed through Apple.
Tap your name at the top
Tap your name at the very top of the Settings screen to access your Apple Account settings. This is where all your Apple ID-related settings live.
Tap Subscriptions
Tap Subscriptions to see a list of all your active and expired Apple subscriptions. Find Castro in the list and tap on it.
Tap Cancel Subscription
Tap Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the Castro subscription details. Confirm when prompted. Your Castro Plus features will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
Subscribed Through Apple or Google?
Castro is an iOS-exclusive podcast app, so all subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store. You must cancel through Apple's subscription management system.

- 4. Tap Castro in the list

What Happens After You Cancel Castro?
Castro Plus features remain until billing period ends
Your premium features continue working until the end of your current billing cycle. Apple does not cut off access early.
Your podcast queue and subscriptions stay
Your podcast subscriptions, queue, and listening history are preserved. You can still use Castro's basic features without a subscription.
Premium features become unavailable
After your subscription expires, you lose access to Castro Plus features like enhanced audio, trim silence, per-podcast settings, and sideloading. Basic playback continues to work.
You can resubscribe anytime
You can resubscribe to Castro Plus at any time through the app or through Apple Subscriptions. Your settings and data will be restored.
