How to Cancel Clash of Clans Gold Pass
If you have spent any time hunting for a cancel button inside the game, stop. There isn't one. Supercell does not bill Gold Pass; Apple and Google do, which means $4.99 a month gets cancelled in your phone's settings, not in the village.
The 30-second answer
iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Clash of Clans → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Google Play → profile → Payments and subscriptions → Clash of Clans Gold Pass → Cancel.

The 3 steps, by platform
iPhone / iPad
- 1. Open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- 2. Tap Clash of Clans. (Apple labels it by app name, not "Gold Pass".)
- 3. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
Android
- 1. Open Google Play, profile icon, then Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- 2. Tap Clash of Clans Gold Pass, then Manage.
- 3. Tap Cancel subscription and confirm.
Heads up: cancel at least 24 hours before renewal or Apple/Google may bill the next month anyway. Standard platform rule, not a Supercell trick.
The thing the game doesn't put in the cancel flow (because there isn't one)
Claim the Hoggy Bank before the season resets.
The March 2026 rework replaced the Season Bank with the Hoggy Bank: it stores loot earned during the season, and Gold Pass multiplies the payout by 5x when you tap to collect. The 5x is tied to active Gold Pass at the moment of claim. Cancel, forget, season resets, multiplier gone with it. Open the game once before month-end, claim Hoggy, then walk away.
Same logic for unclaimed Daily Task rewards, Choice Node picks, and the monthly stipend: anything earned but not collected disappears at reset. Already-collected items (Hero Skins, Magic Items, Ores, Trader stock, Town Hall and Builder Base progress) are permanent. The official rework announcement has the full reward table.
When the charge actually stops
Gold Pass runs out at the end of the current monthly season, not the moment you tap cancel. No proration, but no early cutoff either. The next charge will not hit, and the renewal line disappears on the date the platform shows you.
Want a refund for the current month? Supercell's store refund policy says virtual items are final, but Gold Pass was sold by Apple or Google, so platform rules apply. Apple takes requests at reportaproblem.apple.com. Google Play has a 48-hour self-service refund window, then case-by-case. No guarantees on either, but the ask is free.
If your kid plays and the charge is yours
Gold Pass shows up on the billing account, not the kid's village. If it's not in your own Subscriptions list, the purchase ran on a different Apple ID or Google account, and the cancel has to happen on that phone. iOS Family Sharing does not extend in-app subscriptions. Why is there no cancel Gold Pass button inside Clash of Clans?
Because Supercell does not bill you. Apple bills iOS players and Google bills Android players. The subscription lives on the store side, so the cancel button lives there too. The game has no subscription management screen of any kind.
My kid plays but the charge is on my card. Where do I cancel?
Wherever the original purchase ran. If the charge is from Apple, your iPhone Settings. If from Google, Google Play (or play.google.com). Family Sharing does not share Gold Pass.
If I cancel mid-month, do I lose benefits right away?
No. Benefits run to the end of the current monthly season. The Hoggy Bank 5x, Prospector, Choice Nodes, 1-gem donations, and the monthly stipend all keep working until reset. After that, the next month is not charged.
Do I lose the rewards and hero skins I already earned?
No. Anything already collected (Hero Skins, Magic Items, Ores, Trader items, Town Hall and Builder Base progress) stays in your account forever. Only future season accrual stops. Unclaimed tiers from the current season vanish at reset, so collect before the month ends.
