How to Cancel Roblox Premium

Robux already in the wallet stay there. The monthly stipend stops. About three minutes on roblox.com. Coming back changed on April 30, 2026.

Read this before you click cancel

Roblox stopped selling Premium on April 30, 2026, replaced by Roblox Plus. Existing subscribers can stay on Premium, but cancelling is one-way: no resubscribing. Only path back is Roblox Plus ($4.99/month flat, discount-based, no Robux stipend). Cancel deliberately, especially if your kid was on Premium 1000 or 2200 for the Robux.

The fast path (web-billed)

Sign in at roblox.com → gear icon → SettingsSubscriptions → expand Premium → Cancel Renewal. Done. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

If there's no Cancel button at all, your subscription is billed through Apple, Google, or Xbox. Skip to the platform-fork section below.

A few notes on the flow

  • All three tiers (Premium 450, 1000, 2200) cancel the same way. No tier-specific flow.
  • Use a browser. The Roblox app doesn't show subscription management.
  • Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. Per Roblox's help page, late requests may not stop the next charge.
  • No retention pop-up, no discount, no survey.

If you don't see a Cancel button

Premium was bought through Apple, Google, or Xbox, so Roblox isn't the biller. Most common "I can't cancel" complaint on the Roblox dev forum. Pick your biller:

  • Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Roblox Premium → Cancel.
  • Google Play: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Roblox Premium → Cancel.
  • Xbox: account.microsoft.com/services, find Roblox Premium, cancel.

What happens to the Robux and avatar items

Already-credited Robux stay in the wallet. Roblox does not claw back balances on cancellation.

What stops at period end: the monthly Robux drop, the 10% bonus on Robux purchases, and trading and resale. Limited items listed for resale get delisted automatically. Premium-only avatar items remain owned but become non-equippable.

About refunds

Non-refundable and not prorated. Cancelling stops the next charge, not the current period. A 2025 double-billing bug double-charged some Premium 1000 subscribers; Roblox refunded case-by-case. If you see a duplicate, contact roblox.com/support before disputing with the bank: chargebacks block direct refunds.

Questions people actually ask

If I cancel, do I lose the Robux I already have?

No. Robux already in the wallet stay there. What stops is the monthly stipend. Premium-only avatar items become non-equippable but aren't deleted, and trading and resale cut off at the end of the billing period.

There's no Cancel button in my Roblox settings. Why?

The subscription was bought through Apple, Google, or Xbox, so Roblox can't cancel it. Use the platform fork above. The same thing happens, oddly, when a card and an Apple Wallet are both linked to the account and the actual biller is ambiguous; that one needs a support ticket.

I'm a parent. Why can't I cancel from my own Roblox account?

Parental linking gives oversight but not subscription control. The Subscriptions tab is on whichever account purchased Premium, which is usually the kid's. Log in as the child to find Cancel Renewal. If you paid through Apple or Google, cancel through your own Apple ID or Google account instead.

Can I resubscribe to Premium later if I change my mind?

No. Premium was discontinued on April 30, 2026. Cancellation is permanent. The replacement is Roblox Plus at $4.99/month, but it's a discount-based plan with no Robux stipend, so the value math is different. Cancel deliberately, not by accident.

Now that Premium is off the card, what else is your kid signed up for?
