Cancel Happn Step by Step
Open the {name} app
Launch Happn on your phone. Most dating apps handle subscriptions exclusively through the app, though some also allow cancellation at happn.com.
Go to your Profile or Settings
Tap your profile icon or the gear/settings icon. Navigate to Account, Subscription, or Manage Membership.
Tap Cancel Subscription
Find Cancel Subscription or Manage Subscription. Happn will probably try to keep you with offers or show you how many "likes" you'll lose access to. Stay strong if you want to cancel.
Cancel through Apple/Google if needed
If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play (most people do), you'll need to cancel there instead. The app will redirect you, or follow the Apple/Google steps below.
Pro Tip
Deleting the app does NOT cancel your subscription. You'll keep being charged.
Subscribed Through Apple or Google?
If you signed up for Happn through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you need to cancel through those platforms instead.
Cancel via iPhone / iPad

- 2. Tap your name at the top
- 3. Tap Subscriptions
- 4. Tap Happn

- 2. Tap your profile icon

What Happens After You Cancel Happn?
Your premium features end at the billing period
After canceling, you lose premium features like unlimited swipes, seeing who liked you, or boost visibility. Your profile stays active on the free tier.
Your matches and conversations are kept
Canceling premium doesn't delete your matches or chat history. You can still message existing matches on the free plan.
Consider deleting your profile separately
If you want to fully leave Happn, go to Settings > Delete Account after canceling your subscription. Canceling the subscription alone leaves your profile visible.

How do I delete my Happn account entirely?
Canceling premium is different from deleting your account. To fully remove your profile, go to Settings > Account > Delete Account (or similar). This removes your profile, matches, and data permanently.
Can I get a refund for Happn?
Happn generally doesn't offer refunds for dating subscriptions. If you subscribed through Apple, you can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Google Play refunds can be requested within 48 hours of purchase.
