Cancel JioHotstar on the Website
Go to JioHotstar and Sign In
Open jiohotstar.com in your web browser and sign in with the account that holds your subscription. You can log in with your Jio number, email, or social account.
Open Your Account Settings
Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner. Select Manage Account or My Account from the dropdown. This will show your current subscription plan and status.
Go to Subscription Settings
Navigate to the Subscription section. You will see your active plan details including the plan name, validity, and next renewal date. Look for the auto-renewal toggle or Cancel Subscription option.
Turn Off Auto-Renewal or Cancel
Toggle off Auto-Renewal to prevent your subscription from renewing at the end of the current period. If there is a direct Cancel Subscription button, click it instead. Confirm when prompted. Your subscription will remain active until its expiry date.
Subscribed via Jio Recharge Plan?
If your JioHotstar subscription came bundled with a Jio prepaid or postpaid plan, you cannot cancel it separately. The JioHotstar access will expire when your Jio plan expires. To stop the subscription, simply switch to a Jio plan that does not include JioHotstar when your current plan ends.
Subscribed Through Apple or Google?
If you subscribed to JioHotstar through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you must cancel through those platforms. The JioHotstar website or app cannot cancel app store subscriptions.

What Happens After You Cancel JioHotstar?
You keep access until your plan expires
Canceling turns off auto-renewal but does not end your access immediately. You can continue watching all JioHotstar content until your current subscription period expires.
Downloaded content becomes unavailable
Any shows or movies you downloaded for offline viewing will become inaccessible once your subscription expires. Make sure to watch downloaded content before your plan ends.
No refunds for remaining period
JioHotstar does not provide prorated refunds for the unused portion of your subscription. If you have an annual plan with months remaining, you will not receive a refund for those months.
Free content remains accessible
JioHotstar offers some free content that does not require a subscription. After canceling, you can still access free shows, highlights, and select content with ads.

Disney+ Hotstar was rebranded as JioHotstar following Jio's acquisition of streaming rights in India. All existing Disney+ Hotstar subscriptions were automatically migrated to JioHotstar. Your login credentials and watch history carried over. The cancellation process is the same.
Can I cancel if JioHotstar came with my Jio plan?
If JioHotstar was bundled with your Jio prepaid or postpaid recharge, you cannot cancel it separately. The streaming access is part of your telecom plan. To stop it, switch to a Jio plan that does not include JioHotstar when your current plan expires. No partial refunds are available.
Will I lose my watch history after canceling?
