Click the Settings gear icon in the left sidebar, or click your account name and select Settings from the dropdown menu.

What Happens After You Cancel pCloud?

You keep access until your billing period ends

After canceling your annual plan, you retain full access to your pCloud Premium or Premium Plus storage until the end of your current billing period. No immediate loss of files or features occurs.

Storage reverts to the free tier

Once your subscription expires, your storage drops to the free pCloud tier (up to 10 GB). If your files exceed the free limit, your account becomes read-only until you delete files or resubscribe.

pCloud Crypto and add-ons are canceled separately

If you have pCloud Crypto (encryption add-on) or other add-on subscriptions, they are billed separately. Canceling your storage plan does not automatically cancel these. Check your subscription settings for all active add-ons.

Your files are not deleted immediately

pCloud does not delete your files when you cancel. However, accounts that remain over the storage limit for an extended period may eventually have restrictions applied. Download your important files before your subscription expires.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a refund on a pCloud lifetime plan?

Only within the first 10 days of purchase. pCloud offers a 10-day money-back guarantee on all plans, including lifetime plans. After this window closes, lifetime purchases are permanent and non-refundable. Contact pCloud support to request a refund within the 10-day window.

What is the difference between pCloud Premium and Premium Plus?

pCloud Premium includes 500 GB of storage, while Premium Plus includes 2 TB of storage. Both come with the same features like file sharing, remote upload, and cross-platform syncing. The cancellation process is the same for both plans.

How do I cancel pCloud Crypto separately?

pCloud Crypto is a separate subscription. To cancel it, go to Settings, then Subscription, and look for the Crypto add-on. Click Cancel next to the Crypto subscription. This does not affect your main storage plan.

Can I switch from a lifetime plan to a monthly plan?

Lifetime plans do not expire, so there is no reason to switch to a recurring plan. If you purchased a lifetime plan and are satisfied, no further action is needed. There is no ongoing billing to manage.

Will pCloud delete my files after I cancel?

Not immediately. Your files remain accessible after cancellation. However, if you exceed the free storage limit after your subscription ends, you will only be able to download files, not upload new ones. pCloud recommends downloading excess files before your plan expires.
