Cancel Skillshare on the Website
Log in to Skillshare
Go to skillshare.com in a desktop or mobile web browser and sign in with the account you want to cancel. You must use a web browser, not the Skillshare app, to cancel directly.
Go to Account Settings
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the page. From the dropdown menu, select Account Settings.
Navigate to the Payments Section
Select Payments from the settings options. This page shows your current plan, billing cycle, and payment method on file.
Click Cancel Subscription
Click the Cancel Subscription button. Skillshare may try to offer you a discounted rate or ask for a reason. Follow the prompts and confirm your cancellation. You will receive a confirmation email once complete.
Subscribed Through Apple or Google?
If you signed up for Skillshare through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you need to cancel through those platforms. The Skillshare website will not show a cancel option for app store subscriptions.

What Happens After You Cancel Skillshare?
You keep access until your billing period ends
Skillshare does not cut off access immediately. You can continue watching classes and working on projects until the end of your current billing cycle.
Your projects and account stay intact
Your Skillshare account is not deleted when you cancel. Your class projects, discussions, and profile remain accessible. You can continue to update projects and participate in discussions even after your membership ends.
You lose access to premium classes
After your billing period ends, you will no longer be able to watch premium Skillshare classes. Any downloadable materials provided by teachers also become unavailable. Only free classes remain accessible.
No refunds for partial billing periods
Skillshare does not provide prorated refunds for unused time. The only exception is if you were charged within 48 hours of a free trial ending, in which case you may be able to get a refund by contacting support.
