Cancel Trello on the Website

1

Log in to Trello on the web

Go to trello.com in your web browser and sign in. You must be a Workspace administrator to cancel the subscription. The mobile and desktop apps do not support subscription management.

2

Open Workspace Billing

Expand the left sidebar to view your workspace. Click Settings, then select Billing. This opens the billing management page for your workspace plan.

3

Click Cancel

Scroll to the bottom of the Billing page and look for the Cancel link. Click it to begin the cancellation process. Trello will explain what you lose when you downgrade.

4

Confirm the Cancellation

Follow the confirmation prompts to finalize. Your subscription stops auto-renewing, but you keep all Premium features until the end of the current billing period. You will receive a confirmation email from Atlassian.

What Happens After You Cancel Trello?

You keep Premium features until the billing period ends

Trello does not cut off access immediately. You continue using all Premium features until the end of the prepaid service period.

Boards and cards are not deleted

Your boards, cards, lists, and attachments remain on the free plan. However, you lose access to Premium features like advanced checklists, custom fields, additional Power-Ups, and larger file uploads.

No refunds for unused time

Trello generally does not offer refunds for unused subscription time. You retain paid features through the end of the period you already paid for.

Power-Up limits apply on the free plan

The free plan limits the number of active Power-Ups per board. Power-Ups beyond the free limit are deactivated when your workspace downgrades, but their configurations are preserved.
