Go to Account Settings
Click your profile picture in the top-right corner and select Account Settings. Then navigate to the Manage my subscription section. This shows your current plan, renewal date, and payment method.
Click Cancel my subscription
Click Cancel my subscription. Deezer will show you what you will lose, including ad-free listening, unlimited skips, and offline downloads. You may also be offered a discounted plan or free trial extension.
Choose a reason and confirm
Select a reason for canceling from the dropdown and click Confirm. You will receive a confirmation email. Your Premium features remain active until the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to Deezer Free.

What Happens After You Cancel Deezer?
Premium access continues until billing period ends
You keep all Premium features including ad-free listening, unlimited skips, and high-quality audio until your current billing cycle ends. No further charges will be made.
Your account reverts to Deezer Free
After the billing period ends, your account switches to Deezer Free. You can still stream music with ads, but you lose offline downloads, unlimited skips, and on-demand playback on mobile.
Downloaded music becomes unavailable
All tracks you downloaded for offline listening will become inaccessible once your Premium subscription expires. The downloaded files cannot be played without an active subscription.
Family plan members are affected
If you cancel a Deezer Family plan, all members linked to your account will lose their Premium access when the billing period ends. Each member keeps their personal playlists and favorites in their individual free accounts.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will I lose my Deezer playlists if I cancel?
No. Your playlists, favorites, and listening history are all saved in your Deezer account even after cancellation. When you revert to Deezer Free, your library remains intact, though you will have limited playback features.
What happens to Deezer Family members when I cancel?
When the plan owner cancels a Deezer Family subscription, all family members lose their Premium access at the end of the current billing period. Each member's personal playlists and favorites remain saved in their own accounts, but they will revert to the free tier.
Can I cancel Deezer from the mobile app?
Yes. Open the Deezer app, go to Settings, then navigate to Account management and tap Manage my subscription. From there, tap Cancel my subscription and follow the prompts. If you subscribed through Apple or Google, cancel through their respective settings instead.
Should I cancel at least 48 hours before renewal?
It is recommended to cancel at least 48 hours before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the next cycle. If you cancel very close to the renewal date, the cancellation may not process in time and you could be charged again.
Can I transfer my Deezer playlists to another service?
Yes. Services like Soundiiz, TuneMyMusic, and FreeYourMusic let you transfer your Deezer playlists and favorites to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, or other streaming platforms before you cancel.
